- Symbiosis- When 2 completely different organisms live closely together. An example of this would be 2 people like each other and are always together but have completely different personalities.
- Mutualism- A symbiotic relationship where both organisms are benefited. An example of this would be a friendship (with 2 or more people), both people love each other and are great friends so both are benefited by this relationship.
- Commensalism- When one partner benefits and the other is not affected. An example of this would be in a relationship one of the people are commited and benefiting from the relationship while the other isn't affected of the relationship, they don't really care if they have one or not.
- Amensalism- This is when one partner is harmed and the other is not affected. An example of this would be an abusive relationship. One partner is getting abused and hurt while the other is not affected or phased by what they are doing.
- Parasitism- This is when one partner benefits and the other is harmed. An example of this would be a different kind of abusive relationship, where one person loves and needs their partner but they get out of control and abuse that person. So one is benefiting from that relationship and the other is being abused and harmed.
- Pathogen- This is when one partner kills or gives diseases to the other partner. A example of this would be if one partner, without telling the other person, gave sexual diseases to their partner.
